The idea of being "on mission" or being "missional" is not a new concept.  But for whatever reason there appears to be a growing and active interest in social justice and activism, or being missional.

God tells us that he will lead us in ways we do not know; he will guide us down paths unknown to us.  To be on mission with God is to be on an adventure with God. 

Over the next couple of weeks at Sojourn we'll be discussing ideas like surrender, intention, mission, discomfort, and stewardship.  And we'll be launching our 3rd Annual Rice Challenge; starting with Rice Bowls, which can be picked up this Sunday, February 14th at Sojourn.
