@ Sojourn this week …

It’s that time of year when everyone has a new plan.

Either an exercise plan … PX90, Zumba, Yoga, or Spinning.

Or a diet plan … like Weight Watchers, the Special K plan, or Jenny Craig.

Or a New Year’s resolution … to stop smoking, get organized, wake up earlier, or balance your budget.

But what about God’s plan?  Is there a plan?  And what is that plan?  And how am I part of that plan?  And if I am, how come I feel like I “missed the meeting” when we discussed the plan?

I’m looking forward to this new series as we look at God’s eternal plan being worked out through Christ and his body, the Church.  When a person chooses to become a Christ follower, he or she finds new life and direction.  God planned this all along and promises the Christ follower everything that he or she needs to live out this new life.

For the next three weeks we’ll look at God’s plan as described in the book of Ephesians to know him better; God’s very own strength training program; and the  provisions God has made available to every believer.
